By choosing to have a doula at your birth you are willing to ask for the nurturing support
that you deserve. As a Certified Doula I will provide continuous
support from the time you hire me, throughout your entire journey.
You and I and your partner and anyone else that you choose to
have at your birth, will work together as a team to facilitate
the most positive birth experience that is possible.
My support comes in many ways and we will find what works best
for you. To help facilitate labor and provide pain management,
I use empowering encouragement, massage, breathing techniques,
guided visualizations, hot/cold therapy, and suggesting positions.
I have many other tricks in my birth
bag. I have had training in Hypnobirthing and Acupressure for
labor and birth. I have attended over 100 births and I go to hospitals throughout the Bay Area.
